Very delicious meal. The Branzino was delicious. The best salad was also great.

Excellent place to celebrate birthdays or a regular Saturday night out with your hubby.

Had a reservation. Prompt seating and service. Excellent food. Service was good. May I suggest that, if the restaurant is largely empty, please don't sit customers next to the bathroom.

The place is awesome. My husband and I love it and recommend it to everyone. I am in the food business. I can't say enough about the food and the great service!!!

Food and service were excellent.

A solid choice for straight forward Italian food. Don't get the fish or the short rib. Stick to pasta and veal or chicken and you will love it. It's always about knowing what to order where you are and what they do well.

Food was good but would not accommodate separate checks and menu. Would not go back.

Visited for the first time for our anniversary dinner and loved it! The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and arrived at our table piping hot. Every person we encountered was lovely- it's a small place and i think they had three servers that worked their asses off and didn't miss a beat. And it's BYOB! Can't wait to go back!

Great experience and a good spot for an anniversary. The fried chicken is the best I've ever had--it's sweet, it's spicy, it's salty, it's the best. I can't stress enough how perfect that dish is.

We had a great time at this BYOB. We were a party of 8, place was moderately full but not overcrowded. Our server was friendly and accommodating to our group. Food was awesome. Great portions and everything we ordered was prepared perfect. Will definitely come back !

This BYOB in Havertown is a gem. The food is great. It has a casual elegance and Karen our waitress treated us like celebrities. If you are going on the weekend, it’s a good idea to make reservations.

Honestly, the woman with the red hair does not belong in the service industry. When we called to make the reservation, a woman was in the background yelling about how she couldn’t accomodate us (a party of over 10 ppl), but for some reason we got the reservation. When we got there and a member of our party was running late, she was yelling at us about how we messed up the entire flow of the kitchen. I’ve worked in the service industry and can’t imagine ever yelling at a guest that they inconvenienced the kitchen. The food was ok, but we were charged about 26% gratuity to be rushed out and yelled at, and honestly the food wasn’t good enough to put up with being treated like that. I love supporting small business, but we’re not coming here again.

Service was impeccable. Our waitress tied everything beautifully so we had just the right amount of time between courses, checked on us at perfect times, all the things that make a person an outstanding server. I think her name is Kelly. Used a Groupon and spent 28 including tip. Incredible food, atmosphere, and just the right amount of money left in my pocket.

Great service wonderful food

Ate there last night. Had eggplant parm. Eggplant was bitter and unde rcooked. As the restaurant got more crowded and the kitchen got busier the whole restaurant got smoky and my eyes started to burn. I confirmed this with my dinner partner. When I went outside I noted my clothes smelled like grease which lingered into this morning.

If you love good food In a cozy environment than this is the place for you. The little necks are to die for. And the service is impeccable, Karen our server was great we will be returning to this place as often as possible. Oh did I mention this place is a byob.

Most delicious food in the area. Very creative menu and huge entree portions that are super flavorful. The Eggplant Parmesan is the best I've ever had!

This place was so good. My girls and I had a Birthday dinner there and the food was so good. I had the crab cakes on a bed of parmesan risotto with garlic spinach. My goodness. The atmosphere was so calm and layed back. It was busy though. Parking was great. Our server was super nice. She was knowledgeable of the menu and gave awesome recommendations. I suggest this place for lowkey small and intimate setting.

Great meal and even better service. Have been twice now, our visit was good (certainly good enough to return) but our second visit in addition to a delicious meal, had exceptional service. Very much looking forward to going back.

I'm not one to easily rate restaurants five stars, so rating Edgewood Cafe five stars means that it's legit. everything about this experience was unbelievable and something that I'll remember for the rest of my life. The service was excellent and friendly; we were immediately offered an ice bath for our wine and given lots of assistance for how to navigate their menu. It's a tiny cozy place, but I never felt cramped in any way. The food was unbelievable. We had a Groupon, which came with an appetizer to share, to salads, two entrees and a dessert to share. We definitely did not leave hungry!!! 😂 I would definitely come back here again on another special occasion!

We've enjoyed every meal we've had there and have introduced it to many friends. The basic menu is varied and the specials are always interesting. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I do like thats it a BYOB, we can bring our favorite bottle , with no cork fee Its not a place we hit every week since its a little on the higher side ( 2 dinners and a shared fabulous salad) runs about $75...But its worth ever penny and great to go for special occasions..btw...best to make reservations ( BTW if you remember Scampies in the 90's he is the same owner and fabulous chef)

The food was good and portions generous. Check out he seafood scampi, it had the most shellfish I've ever seen in the dish. Wait staff gave us the perfect amount of attention.

My husband and I just had takeout from here for our wedding anniversary on a week night. I ordered the seabass in the basil lemon butter which was excellent. The risotto which came with both of our meals was also very delicious.

Warm and friendly service, delicious food, large portions, unpretentious. Kelly was an exceptional waitress. Great spot for a meal with friends. Looking forward to our next visit.

My wife and I love this place. We've never had a meal we didn't like and the staff is very friendly. It's also a nice, cozy atmosphere.

A great local restaurant with great food and great service. If you like your restaurants on the quieter side, skip Sat. Nights. The owner/chef is always there or they're not open.

What a treat! Clean, delicious, fresh, friendly, local and we are so lucky to have this available to us! Great, creative menu choices! When I show clients homes in the area, I always point out the best restaurants...this is a top choice.

My family and I went here to celebrate our twin sons' birthday. I made reservations one day in advance and our table was ready when we arrived. The food, service and ambience was excellent. Our server Kelly was friendly and very attentive. She offered and opened my wine bottle for me before I had a chance to ask. She also brought out each course of the meal in a timely manner. We all really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be returning.

We (4) had a delicious dinner. Everything was wonderful...waitress, server, food, ambiance. Definitely will return.
